When will the Waterbury train station renovation begin?
The CT DOT has announced the construction and renovation of the Waterbury train station under the HNTB project. According to reports, the construction work was supposed to begin in September 2025.
The public meetings for the project were held last year, which supported the project. The project is officially underway and is still in an early stage; however, as per reports, the CT DOT expects it to be completed by the end of 2027 summer.
