- The settlement has two sub-classes – one for non-Massachusetts residents (Federal action), and the other for Massachusetts (state action).
Exclusion:

- Ordinary Attested Time:
- You can claim the payout for the time spent dealing with ordinary out-of-pocket losses.
- The payment will be $30 for each hour, and you can claim attested time for 5 hours.
- Extraordinary loss:
- If you have faced any extraordinary loss that might not be connected to a data incident and not reimbursable in the ordinary out-of-pocket loss, such as a falsified tax return, identity theft, financial fraud, etc, you can claim the extraordinary loss.
- You will receive the maximum payout of $25,000 under the extraordinary loss claim with proper documentation provided along with the claim form.
- Extraordinary Attested Time:
- If you spend time addressing the extraordinary loss, you can get reimbursement for 20 hours at $30 per hour rate.
- Alternative Cash Payment:
- If you do not have any documented loss and can’t file any of the following categories, you can claim the alternative cash payment of up to $50.
