Who is getting the NY inflation rebate checks in 2025?
The NY Inflation rebate check is being received by individuals who filed form IT-201, i.e., a state resident income tax return for tax year 2023; reported income within the qualifying thresholds; and were not claimed as a dependent on another’s return.
The income threshold for the single, married filing separately, and head of household is $150,000, and for married filing jointly and qualifying surviving spouse, it is $300,000. If your AGI for tax year 2023 is above the threshold, you aren’t entitled to get the rebate check.

- If your income is $75,000 or less, your check will be $200.
- If your income is more than $75,000 but not more than $150,000, your check will be $150.
Married Filing Joint:
- If your income is $150,000 or less, your check will be $400.

Married Filing Separately:
